And to provide your customers with an elevated unboxing experience, pair these boxes with custom box inserts. Rest assured that your items will remain safe and secure throughout the shipping and handling process.

MOQ from 300 units

When ordering with the outer box, we offer a minimum of 300 units per size or design for our custom box inserts. If you require standalone box inserts, the minimum order quantity (MOQ) starts at 500 units. With this flexibility in minimums, we aim to accommodate a range of business needs and budgets. Rest assured that regardless of the order size, we maintain the same high quality and attention to detail in every product we create.

Common Insert Structures

Custom box inserts require a tailored approach to ensure optimal product protection. There is no single insert design that can accommodate every product, as the size, weight, and positioning of each item can vary greatly. We take into account these factors and create a unique structure for each insert that will keep your products safe during transit. To give you an idea of the possibilities, here are some examples of common insert structures that we have developed. However, please note that these are only references, and we will work closely with you to create a bespoke insert that perfectly fits your products.

Box Insert (No Backing)

This type of insert is typically utilized for products that can rest directly on the bottom of the box without requiring elevation. It is an excellent option for products of uniform size and shape. This type of insert is designed to snugly fit the product and keep it securely in place during shipping or handling. It is a popular choice for its simplicity and cost-effectiveness. If your product has a consistent shape and size, this may be the best insert option for you.

Box Insert (With Backing)

This type of insert is ideal for products that are similar in size and require elevation to fit snugly within the insert. Without elevation, the products may not be held securely, causing them to shift or fall through. This type of insert provides a sturdy base and holds each product in place, preventing any movement during shipping or handling. This is a popular choice for products that are delicate or have specific positioning requirements. If your product varies slightly in size, this insert can be customized to provide a tailored fit, ensuring maximum protection during transportation.

Box Insert (Multiple Backings)

This type of insert is designed for products of varying sizes that require elevation to fit securely in the insert. Each backing is uniquely tailored to the size and shape of each product, ensuring that they do not fall through the insert. This type of insert provides a versatile solution that accommodates products of different sizes and shapes while keeping them secure during shipping or handling. This is an excellent choice for products that require additional protection due to their fragility, weight, or other specific requirements. With custom backings, we can ensure that each product is held in place and that there is no movement during transit, providing optimal protection for your valuable products.

Corrugated Materials

When it comes to protecting heavy or fragile items during shipping, corrugated box inserts are the go-to option. The wavy lines in the cardboard provide extra strength and ensure that the insert is sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of transportation. These types of inserts are particularly effective for products that require additional cushioning and protection during shipping. The printed design is applied to the base material, which is then securely glued to the corrugated board, creating a visually appealing and durable product. We are committed to sustainability and eco-friendliness, which is why all our materials contain a minimum of 50% post-consumer content (recycled waste). This means that our products not only provide superior protection for your items but also help reduce your environmental footprint.

Our corrugated dividers are printed on high-quality materials and then securely glued onto the corrugated board, resulting in a durable and attractive product. We are committed to sustainability, and all of our materials contain at least 50% post-consumer content, ensuring that we are doing our part to protect the environment.

E-flute
This option is the most popular and typically has a flute thickness ranging from 1.2 to 2mm.

White
CCNB paper is a type of paperboard that has a clay coating on one side and is commonly used in printed corrugated packaging solutions due to its high-quality printing capabilities and durability.

B-flute
This option is well-suited for larger boxes and heavier products, as it offers added strength and durability. It features a flute thickness of 2.5-3mm, making it a sturdier choice than the more commonly used option with a flute thickness of 1.2-2mm.

Brown Kraft
If you’re looking for a packaging material that is perfect for black or white printing, unbleached brown paper is an excellent option. This type of paper provides a natural, organic look and feel that complements minimalist designs with simple color schemes. Choose unbleached brown paper if you want to create a down-to-earth packaging solution that is both stylish and eco-friendly.

Non-corrugated Materials

For lightweight and non-fragile items, paper-based box inserts are a cost-effective option. These inserts have a standard thickness of 300-400gsm and are made with at least 50% post-consumer content (recycled waste). While not as strong as corrugated inserts, paper-based inserts still offer a good level of protection and are a sustainable choice.

When it comes to fragile items like jewelry, glass, or electronics, foam inserts provide the best protection. These inserts are made of soft and durable foam material that cradles each item, preventing damage during transit. However, foam inserts are not the most eco-friendly option, and they cannot be printed on.

At our company, we offer a range of insert options to cater to your specific needs and priorities. We strive to provide environmentally responsible products while ensuring your products are delivered safely and securely.

White
Looking for paper that provides exceptional print quality? Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS) paper is an excellent choice. This high-quality material is renowned for its ability to produce crisp, vibrant, and detailed prints. Choose SBS paper if you want to make a lasting impression on your customers with packaging that showcases the finest details of your design.

PE Foam
Polyethylene foam is a soft and lightweight material that has a sponge-like texture. It is available in two classic colors, black and white. This type of foam is ideal for cushioning fragile items during shipping or storage, as it provides a high level of shock absorption and vibration damping. Polyethylene foam is also water-resistant, making it a suitable choice for products that may be exposed to moisture. Its versatile properties make it a popular choice for a variety of applications, from packaging to insulation and beyond.

EVA Foam
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) foam is a flexible and durable material that has a texture similar to a yoga mat. This foam is available in two classic colors, black and white. EVA foam is a popular choice for packaging and cushioning applications because of its excellent shock absorption and vibration damping properties. It is also resistant to water and chemicals, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. EVA foam is a versatile material that can be easily cut and shaped to fit any product or packaging needs. Its unique combination of properties makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications.

Print

To ensure that our packaging is as eco-friendly as possible, we use soy-based ink for all our printing needs. This type of ink not only produces brighter and more vibrant colors but is also a sustainable alternative to traditional petroleum-based inks. By choosing soy-based ink, you can rest assured that your packaging solution is not only visually striking but also environmentally responsible.

Compare CMYK & Pantone

CMYK
When it comes to printing, the CMYK color system is a popular and cost-effective choice. This color model is widely used in the printing industry because it is capable of producing a broad spectrum of colors by mixing just four ink colors – cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. Choose CMYK if you want a high-quality printing solution that is both affordable and versatile.

Pantone
If you’re looking for a printing solution that delivers precise and consistent brand colors, consider using the Pantone Matching System (PMS). This system is specifically designed to ensure that your colors are printed accurately, making it an excellent choice for brands that require color consistency across different media. While PMS printing may be more expensive than CMYK printing, it offers superior color accuracy and is an ideal choice for high-end products that demand the utmost attention to detail.

Coating

To safeguard your printed designs from scratches and scuffs, we offer a protective coating that is applied after printing. This coating acts as a barrier against wear and tear, ensuring that your packaging looks as good as new even after repeated use. Choose this option if you want to enhance the durability of your packaging and protect your designs from everyday wear and tear.

Compare varnish & lamination

Lamination
We offer a plastic coating option that provides an extra layer of protection for your designs, shielding them from cracks and tears. However, it’s important to note that this option is not the most eco-friendly. While it does provide enhanced durability, it does so at the expense of environmental impact. Consider this option if you prioritize durability over eco-friendliness, but keep in mind that we also offer a range of more sustainable coating options that provide excellent protection without compromising the environment.

Varnish
This is a statement that describes an eco-friendly water-based coating used for packaging that doesn’t provide the same level of protection as lamination. Here’s one way to say it differently:

We offer an eco-friendly water-based coating option for our packaging that is a more sustainable alternative to lamination. However, it’s important to note that this coating doesn’t provide the same level of protection as lamination.

Finishes

Make your packaging stand out with a range of finish options that add that extra touch of elegance and sophistication. Our finish options are designed to complement your packaging and provide a cohesive look and feel that elevates your brand. Choose from a variety of finishes including gloss, matte, soft touch, and more, to achieve the perfect look for your product. Whether you're going for a sleek and modern design or a more classic and refined aesthetic, our finish options will help you create the perfect packaging solution.

Compare finishes

Matte
If you’re looking for a sophisticated and refined finish for your packaging, our soft touch option is the perfect choice. Soft touch adds a luxurious feel to your packaging, with a smooth and non-reflective finish that exudes elegance and style. This finish provides an overall softer look, with a velvety texture that feels great to the touch. Choose soft touch for a finish that truly stands out and adds that extra touch of sophistication to your packaging.

Satin
For a finish that strikes the perfect balance between matte and glossy, our satin finish is an excellent choice. With a semi-shiny appearance, this finish adds just the right amount of sheen to your packaging, creating a subtle yet eye-catching effect. Satin finish is perfect for packaging that requires a sophisticated and polished look without being too reflective. It offers a versatile option that complements a wide range of design aesthetics, making it a popular choice among our customers. Choose satin finish to achieve that perfect in-between look that strikes the right balance for your packaging.

Glossy
For a finish that exudes a high-gloss, shiny look and feel, our gloss finish is the perfect option. With its reflective properties, this finish adds a luxurious and polished touch to your packaging, making it stand out on the shelf. The gloss finish is particularly effective for designs with vibrant colors and bold graphics, as it enhances the brightness and contrast of your artwork. It is important to note that gloss finish is more prone to fingerprints due to its reflective nature. However, if you’re looking for a finish that truly makes a statement, gloss is the way to go.

Soft touch
If you’re looking for a finish that adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to your packaging, our velvet finish is an excellent option. This finish looks like a matte finish, but has a soft, velvety feel to the touch, creating a unique tactile experience for the consumer. The velvet finish adds a layer of depth and richness to your designs, making it ideal for luxury products or those with intricate designs. The subtle sheen of the velvet finish also adds a hint of shine to your packaging, without being too reflective. Choose the velvet finish for a high-end look and feel that will make your products stand out on the shelf.
